Burien Brat Trot and Bavarianfest

Run, Trot, or Walk - family fun this fall in B-town!
5k race begins promptly at 1pm at the corner of 10th and 152nd in Olde Burien. 1 mile family race begins promptly at 1:40 at Lake Burien Park.
The Burien Brat Trot 5K™ and 1 mile “seize the sausage” family race has become one of the Northwest most fun community events! All day long on October 7, 2012, enjoy an Oktoberfest style party complete with beer, great food, music, zany fun centered around the Burien Brat Trot 5K™ or 1 mile race!
This race benefits two important local organizations—the Highline Schools Foundation, which gathers community resources to support the 18,000 public school students in the Highline School District, and Safe Kids South King County, which supports injury prevention through education and access.
The course:
The 5K race begins at the corner of 10th Ave SW and SW 152nd Street in Olde Burien, circles Lake Burien and finishes to cheering crowds in front of The Tin Room! View the official course map here. The one mile race starts at Lake Burien Park and also finishes in the heart of the festivities.
